Complete support throughout the process

Beyond the chemical composition of cosmetics, Simelia also offers branding suggestions regarding the most appropriate way of packaging, with custom containers and solutions that will make a positive impression on your customers, ultimately leading to increased loyalty and sales. The most important thing, however, is that we undertake your Cosmetic Product Information File (PIF) and the notification to the CPNP for the product’s release on the European market.

Modern manufacturing plant

Simelia’s headquarters and manufacturing plant are located in Greece, with state-of-the-art facilities that are fully compliant with Greek, European and international standards such as ISO 9001.

The plant has separate production and packaging departments, while the entire design and operation of our facilities are based on GMP – Good Manufacturing Practice quality assurance system.

Our production line includes a variety of filling and packaging equipment, allowing us to efficiently produce a wide range of personal care and hygiene products and tailor our services to meet each customer’s unique needs.

Formula Development

Based on scientific developments and the available literature, Simelia's experienced chemists start with the development of the formula and the selection of the most suitable raw materials.

Stability Tests

Stability tests determine/verify product shelf life by checking for changes in packaging, odor, color, pH, viscosity, microbial growth, etc.

Efficacy Tests

According to legislation, we must prove the claims we attribute to the products, which is why we proceed with detailed in-vitro, ex-vivo and in-vivo efficacy tests, patch tests, etc.

Safety Assessment

We provide General Toxicological reports for ingredients and correctly label and package them with appropriate INCI ingredients listing and warnings.

Challenging Tests

We test the effectiveness of preservatives, helping to minimize the risk of microbial growth under normal conditions of storage or use.

Pilot Production

We create a small-scale pilot batch for testing and evaluation according to the directions given by each customer, incorporating any comments

Production

Simelia undertakes the entire production of the product in its state-of-the-art facilities or supports the first production in your own facilities.

Legislative support

An important part of our services is your full support, taking care of the product file (PIF-Product Information File) and notification to the CPNP.

Label Creation

Finally, we will recommend the ideal packaging to ensure excellent protection and use, while we will also create the label with the detailed list of ingredients.

Simelia's state-of-the-art laboratory is located in our privately owned plant in Greece and is an integral part of the Research and Development department.
